Accounting in MH101 Bachelor of Arts degree. >Students are introduced to the fundamentals of accounting in year 1 >There is an option to take Accounting as a double subject where students take additional accounting/finance related modules. 22.5 of the credits occur in Group 6 (7.5 credits in semester 1, and 15 in semester 2) >The other 7.5 credits in semester 1 is a choice between a Business Management Module (MN157 - Professional and Learning Skills) in Group 2, or a Universal Critical Skills SK1057 course which is available in every group (as part of our Critical Skills) >Choose 2 or 3 other subjects, which may include Critical Skills, from the available groups (maximum 1 subject per group) | - Take Accounting and one other subject to degree level (as a Double Major)

| - Apply to transfer into one of our specialised degrees in Accounting having achieved 60% or more in 1st year Accounting (MH403/MH407/MH409/MH502 LWA – subject to conditions being met)
Erasmus/Study Abroad or Work Placement option after 2nd year Having moved into the specialised degree you will have the option to add a year-long accredited placement in Ireland or abroad to your degree. The University will support you in the search for a placement job; however, the process is competitive. |
