• Execute a thesis/research project that will display intellectual rigour, be evidenced-based and will add value in terms of knowledge accretion and/or policy/practice innovation in the workplace.
• Develop networking skills through interactions with employers and alumni and become more confident in vocalising in group settings.
• Develop an understanding of workplace opportunities and devise a strategy for seeking and securing a position on completion of studies drawing on the resources made available to them through this module.

• Thesis Seminar, Supervised Individual Work, Flexible. Students also work independently on their thesis.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded

• Pass standard: 40%
• Could the result of this module be capped? No
• Penalties: Where applicable, the following penalties apply. If coursework is submitted late, 10% will be deducted. No coursework will be accepted 14 calendar days after the deadline. These penalties will apply except upon presentation of a medical certificate covering the relevant period or in other extremely extenuating circumstances, which must be communicated to, and accepted by, the lecturer/tutor prior to, or immediately after, the relevant deadline. Students may be penalised for poor participation or non-attendance at class and seminars at the course lecturer discretion.
