This module develops participants awareness of strategic management tools and concepts. The module covers classic material from business policy and planning through to contemporary approaches. The module content is heavily underpinned by relevant academic literature and successful participants can expect to complete the course with a thorough knowledge of strategy and practice.
Working in groups and individually, participants will develop their capabilities in strategic planning, analysis, formulation and implementation. Capabilities to communicate and participate effectively in a strategy making process will be developed through class interaction, group work, and written and verbal presentations.
