Building on their professional practice in previous years and the learning from previous modules, students will work under the guidance of a supervisor to assess their ability to assist in planning and providing for the care and education of babies, toddlers and young children (birth – 6 years). Using a range of strategies and methodologies, students will plan and implement curriculum and evaluate children’s learning and development. Students will engage in reflection on the hidden curriculum and their practice, working with colleagues, families, community and other professionals.
