The central focus of this module is on enabling students to to develop a professional, self-analytical, ethical and reflective approach to teaching and learning practice and to be critically aware of the contexts, and structures in which these activities take place. The module is closely linked to teaching practice modules and draws from students’ experiences on placement.
Through the module students will, through a range of creative and reflective, processes learn about:
situating the self in the system:
establishing a reflective theoretical practice framework:
engaging in reflective practice:
becoming a reflective and ethical practitioner.
A minimum of 80% attendance is required and active participation is expected in this module.
