	Overview
	A practical-workshop approach will include opportunities to use a range of multimedia resources, across the curriculum and explore school learning platforms such as Seesaw, Google Classroom and Edmodo to facilitate teaching and assessment practices and to aid pupil learning. Topics such as Assistive Technology (AT), coding and computational thinking are featured. Digital Safety is also a particular focus on the module to raise awareness of issues such as cyberbullying.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Employ relevant technical knowledge and skills of a range of digital technologies (including multi-media resources), effectively to facilitate teaching and assessment practices and to aid pupil learning. Demonstrate personal digital-creativity skills in a practical cross-curricular Froebelian enquiry-based environment. Demonstrate best practice on cyber-ethics including issues of privacy, information security, copyright and on-line safety and understand the complex interplay between technology and society. Identify and utilise a range of assistive technologies to support the learning needs of all pupils. Engage in Taisce e-portfolio-based learning and identify area(s) for further learning in the Droichead induction phase of the continuum.
