This module introduces students to the core issues that affect the behaviour of economic agents. Using a mixture of theory and real-life applications, topics to be analysed include: demand; elasticity; monopoly; revenue maximisation; costs; profit maximization; perfect competition; efficiency; price controls; taxes and subsidies.
