The following information should be forwarded to PAC, 1 Courthouse Square, Galway or uploaded to your online application form:
- A full CV, including educational and relevant professional experience. This CV should include all subjects studied in the final year of candidates’ BA and MA, along with marks received for each subject, and the class of degree awarded.
- A Research Proposal of approximately 1000 words, outlining the research topic they wish to pursue, a selection of the primary texts they intend to examine,
and the methodology they intend to use.
Certified copies of all official transcripts of results for all non-Maynooth University qualifications listed MUST accompany the application. Failure to do so will delay your application being processed. Non-Maynooth University students are asked to provide two academic references and a copy of birth certificate or valid passport.
Prior to making a formal application, applicants are requested to make informal contact by email with their intended supervisor within the Centre for Media Studies. This will allow staff to give applicants advice on their proposed topic, and assist them in developing their application.
