	Consider Finance if you are interested in: learning about the financial sector - made up of lenders and borrowers, big investors and small savers, risk lovers and risk haters, innovators and regulators understanding why currencies rise and fall, stock markets boom and bust, property values soar and crash and why interest rates fluctuate learning how the financial system works from the perspective of the borrower and of the lender, how assets are traded, how international markets are linked, how governments try to control financial markets, and how financial markets respond learning how to use analytical tools – including mathematics, deductive logic and applied statistics – to examine problems and devise logical solutions the opportunity to take a single major in Finance or a major/minor with another Arts subject

Entry requirements

	Additional information
	Applicants are required to have a minimum of six subjects in the Irish Leaving Certificate with two Higher Level papers at C3 and four Ordinary or Higher Level papers at grade D3. HD3 or OC3 Leaving Certificate Maths required.
