• Describe the political, social, theoretical and pedagogical factors that influence the use of digital technologies in higher education.
• With reference to DigCompEdu, evaluate the opportunities and challenges that digital technologies might generate for teaching, learning and assessment within their own context.
• Create fully online or blended digital learning resources, activities and learning experiences for their own context that adhere to principles of good pedagogical practice and that accord with best practice guidelines in accessible and inclusive design.
• Map their past, current and intended professional development activities to the DigCompEdu Framework.

• This module is based on a social constructivist pedagogy where we collaboratively build a learning community. The module is mainly delivered online, via a combination of asynchronous and synchronous resources and activities. Participation in the module is mainly self-directed but participants are also required to attend some module webinars and in-person on-campus sessions.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Ungraded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): The module will be assessed on a Pass/Not Passed basis on successful completion of all module assessment elements. Participants will submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating examples of their use of digital technologies and commentary on their learning.
