This module teaches students sustainable and environmental design approaches. Students will learn how to evaluate a products environmental impact, identify the key sustainability drivers and design for sustainable competitive advantage. Topics covered are; products and their environmental impacts, sustainable design innovation strategies for practice, simplified life cycle analysis, material impacts, design for end of life, social and environmental legislative considerations. |
