Overview Overview

This Elective module is for everybody.

Whether students are in Law, Languages, Science, Business, Economics, History, Sociology, Media, Engineering or any other discipline, there will always be situations that require skills of creativity, innovation, empathy and collaboration. This module provides an integrated use of these skills by instilling an informed discipline approach to methodology and introduces applied practice in a transdisciplinary capacity.

The first semester introduces students to team working and sets short active tasks to allow students from different disciplines to learn how to colloborate and appreciate each other's skills. Foundation principles of researching market opportunities and human behaviour that lead to creative thinking and product service development prepare the students to establish self-directed teams ready for the Entrepreneur Competition in semester two. Our focus is on Tech Development and Product Development, rather than earlier longer stages such as Basic and Applied Science.
