• produce an extended thesis on a topic directly related to the final recital.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Submission of Thesis of 10,000 – 12,000 words on a topic directly related to the final recital. (if part-time, this will take place in the second year of the degree).
• Other detail(s): 15% presentation, 5% participation

• Pass standard: 40%
• Could the result of this module be capped? No

• Continuous assessment marks are carried forward to the autumn. Dissertations-theses, recitals and composition-music technology portfolios presented for the first time in the Autumn Supplemental Examination Session will be capped at 40% in the absence of fully proven mitigating circumstances.
