The objective of this course is to familiarise students with disruptive and emerging digital technologies and develop an understanding of key approaches, issues and challenges to their implementation and management in organizations within different contexts. Topics will be drawn from strategically important emerging technologies and may include Cloud Computing, Digital Platforms, Business Analytics, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet-Of-Things, Robotics, Blockchain, NFT's, Metaverse and/or other emerging topics. Approaches will be drawn from contemporary organizational practice such as Open Innovation, Real World Experimentation, Servitization, Platformization, Innovation & Business Ecosystems, Crowdsourcing and Sustainability etc.

Module Content: The programme is designed for graduates who will not necessarily be familiar with foundational material in this subject area. A fundamental objective of the programme is to develop participant’s general understanding of the material and to move beyond this by: a) exploring advanced material and b) developing an understanding of approaches and factors to consider when implementing and managing new technology within different contexts.
