The development of politics in Ireland with emphasis on the sources for the selected area.
The fifteenth and sixteenth centuries were periods of tumultuous change in Ireland. Families fought for, won and lost the Crown, and religious allegiances were changed to accommodate a new political landscape. This module will trace the change and development of politics in Ireland during the late medieval/early modern periods with particular reference to the dynastic, religious and civil developments which occurred throughout the period c.1450-c.1603.
