This module will have a focus upon multiple facets of the public interface with climate science. Course participants will take part in climate science citizen science activities such as climateprediction.net, cyclonecenter.org and oldweather.org. The course will also cover the interface between scientists and the general public and policymakers. This will include assessment activities such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, traditional media, twitter and blogs. The course will include a non-exhaustive discussion of talking points raised by climate skeptics and why they are wrong.
