Overview Overview

This module is aimed at familiarising students with current developments and challenges in financial markets. This is to help them put their Finance theory into practice and prepare them for life in the workplace. Students will have to study topics of current interest, discuss these topics, make extensive use of Bloomberg data / reports and present their ‘solutions’. Sessions will be led by either academics or experts from the financial sector.

The module is experiential in design. Time in class will include some lectures and discussion, accompanied by exercises that lead to the development of essential problem-solving skills. Students will prepare for and reflect on their experiences both individually and in collaborative learning groups.
