	Overview
	Each student is assigned a project topic and a departmental adviser will be available to give advice on a regular basis at an agreed time. The central aim of the project is to assess the student's ability to formulate and test a theory or model using the methods of quantitative finance, statistics, and/or computer science. The projects should be no more than 20 pages in length and must be word-processed and suitably bound.
