• Critically review literature in various business fields/disciplines and be able to extract relevant literature for their own equine research area;
• Select and implement a methodological strategy for their research;
• Locate, source, and differentiate between primary and secondary sources of business data useful for their specific research topic;
• Critically evaluate relevant data/information and identify possible data limitations;
• Demonstrate and employ important workplace skills (e.g. co-operation, teamwork, meeting deadlines, problem solving, project management, presenting professional written and oral case study reports) in case study work;
• Demonstrate the importance of presenting an oral argument through presentations;
• Critically evaluate research findings; and
• Correctly reference all literature and data sources in a bibliography.

• Lectures, workshops, class discussions, videos, research, and private study. Learning resources include academic textbooks, refereed academic journals, practitioner publications and nominated websites.
