In this module students will deepen their exploration and experience of working with ritual through the vehicle of universal myths. It is a development from the ritual enactment in the first year Active Image Making module. Students will work towards creating and experiencing rituals of potential transformation through the use of myth, scene, character and mask work looking to draw on the impulse from within and through the body. The concept of aesthetic distance and projection, which is central to the therapeutic process in Dramatherapy practise, is further developed
This module will also enable the students to explore the fundamental concepts of working with text within a clinical dramatherapy setting with groups and/or individuals
