The aims of this module is
(a) To help the teacher to guide the child through a crisis/outburst safely and supportively;
(b) To equip the teacher with the skills to teach the child in difficulty better, more constructive and effective ways to deal with stress or painful feelings.

• The Triggering Phase of the Crisis
• Understanding Anger
• Some Protective Interventions
• The Escalation Phase of the Crisis

• The Recovery Phase
• A Whole School Approach.
