• Combine content knowledge with appropriate pedagogical strategies in STEM teaching for understanding
• Demonstrate understanding of relevant assessment practices in STEM education
• Develop strategies to embed literacy and numeracy into STEM teaching
• Explore the needs of various groups of students and consider the range of factors that can influence learning outcomes
• Support students in reflecting on, selecting, developing and critically appraising relevant technologies and teaching techniques for possible use in their professional lives
