Overview | |
---|---|
This module will cover the main topics in development economics by studying both from a theoretical and empirical perspective the market failures which prevent economic development in the poorest countries in the world. In doing so, the module will also explain the causal inference tools used by development economists to identify these market failures and quantify their impact on the lives of the poor. The module will be based on the most recent findings of the related literature. |
