Module objectives: To enable students to develop an understanding of the adaptive value of behaviours to animals and how these behaviours evolve.

Topics include: Optimal foraging; decision-making by parasitoids; sexual selection, sperm competition, and sexual conflict; parental care and mating systems;
conflict between parasites and hosts over the hostís behaviour.
