This module aims to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence for successful engagement with study and student life in higher education.

Learners will be guided to develop the critically reflective skills required for successful engagement with university study and life.

Learners will develop research, writing, referencing, critical thinking, and academic skills appropriate for preparation for undergraduate level study.

Learners will develop confidence in using the University's student communication and learning platforms: Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Moodle.

Learners will also be encouraged to develop their knowledge and confidence in engaging autonomously with wider students' services, societies and supports.
