	This module will provide the underpinning theories of research ethics in adult and community education, providing a forum to critically engage with and explore ethical issues in practice and research. It will provide students with the opportunity to engage with these theories in order to build their own perspectives and in order to conduct their research.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: develop their own ethical perspectives in their research and practice consider the issues of ethics in related fields. a breadth of reading to inform their understanding of ethical considerations, and contextualize these understandings with the literature and theory. review the issue of justice and equality in the wider society
