This module examines theoretical frameworks and key concepts in curriculum design. Its emphasis is principally technical as it equips learners to develop effective curricula in totality including researching a rationale, determining an overall aim for a programme, designing learning outcomes, and understanding the role of assessment and evaluation. Each of these practices are understood in the context of literature that critiques their implementation.
