Arabic mathematics and connections with Indian Mathematics. The renewal of the mathematical spirit in Europe and the Renaissance. Calculus and Number Theory, the marriage of Algebra and Geometry in the 17th Century. 18th century mathematics in Europe, dealing with infinite processes and the rigourisation of Calculus in the 19th century. |
