This module will provide students with a comprehensive overview of social work principles, values and ethics. Students will explore the application of ethical theory in practice contexts. This will include a critical evaluation of the CORU/SWRB Code of Ethics and Conduct and CORU/SWRB Standards of Proficiency. Teaching will incorporate the use of case studies and practice issues. Principles and processes relating to fitness to practice will also be introduced and discussed. |
