| On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: - Read and extract information from business-related texts, charts and graphs, and summarise that information in oral and written form
- Describe working environments, relationships with colleagues, employee and company profiles, business graphics, and business performance using appropriate vocabulary and structures
- Communicate effectively with a variety of interlocutors, e.g. colleagues, customers, and executives, and demonstrate appropriate language skills for negotiation and mediation with these interlocutors in written and oral form
- Produce some business-related texts, such as formal and informal emails and written reports
- Justify a business idea or product in both written and oral form
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a presentation in a coherent and meaningful manner
- Demonstrate intercultural awareness and sociolinguistic competencies, as they relate to the business world
- Apply appropriate vocabulary and grammar rules to complete quizzes and oral and written assignments, using relevant ITC, when necessary
