| On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: - demonstrate a critical understanding of the links between key concepts of economic and social development, environmental sustainability and social justice
- discuss the national and international policy context of environmental sustainability in general and climate change in particular
- explore the implications for society and social & climate justice of key environmental issues such as climate change, food sovereignty, degraded ecosystems, flooding, drought and the carbon economy
- demonstrate insight into the relationship between environmental sustainability and social justice with reference to relevant case studies nationally and internationally
