Approaches to qualitative data analysis. Using qualitative data analysis software to undertake qualitative analysis. Note: PS652 and PS657 must be completed by students who have not completed equivalent content in their primary degrees

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Outline the theoretical and philosophical bases of qualitative methods in psychological research. Describe various qualitative approaches in psychology. Undertake a piece of qualitative research in psychology. Demonstrate competence in the use of appropriate software to undertake qualitative analysis.
