This module provides an opportunity to hear from international experts, stakeholder organisations and leaders in sustainability on the latest research and practice. It provides an opportunity for reflection by the students on their learning and how it may influence their own approach to addressing societal issues.

- Interdisciplinary perspectives in the global and European research and innovation context.
- SDGs and their indicators.
- International perspectives in research and innovation in environmental issues, sustainability, mental health and well-being
- Ethical considerations for applied research.
- Development of research from inception of the idea to measurable impact.
