| | The purpose of this module is to explain and demonstrate the relevance of concepts related to Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Responsible Management to business students.
The module will adopt a learning perspective at the individual and organisational levels and will ask how managers and employees can implement and influence change that produces societal and environmental benefits at the same time as helping businesses meet their goals.
The module is based on the concept of Responsible Management & Organisational Learning which seeks to engage students, professionals and managers with the development of decent work and economic growth opportunities (SDG 8), sustainable industry and innovation (SDG 9) and the sustainable production of goods and services designed for responsible consumption (SDG 12). Key ethical frameworks and approaches will be explored.
The module involves a significant amount of group learning and project teamwork. |
