Companies must be able to turn internal and external data that is relevant to its business into insights that can help them innovate, account for risks and open new collaborations. This module will afford students the opportunities to work with business analysts from industry to tackle business analytics challenges provided by client companies. The business analysts will share their expertise from real-world analytics-driven digital transformation projects and introduce students to different approaches to successfully manage their projects. The experience will enable students to develop their analytics skills and apply their knowledge of concepts, techniques, and research methods obtained throughout the programme to solve business analytics problems. Students will also be able to propose alternative analytics approaches to specific organisational problems. Furthermore, students will be able to critically interpret their findings and present their analysis and recommendations to client organisations.
