	Overview
	This module examines the cardinal and cutting-edge topics in the international trade system from the perspective of international law and international relations. The discussion covers a wide range of topics on agriculture, energy,pharmaceutical, digital trade, and trade and environment issues. The purpose of the module is to empower the students to develop an enriched and extensive view of the legal aspects of the international trade. Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Critically analyse the law as it relates to international trade in food and agricultural products, pharmaceutical products, digital services, energy and the environment. Demonstrate critical understanding of the relevant international and supranational treaties and legislative measures governing the law in this field. Assess the practical, real-world implications of such laws in a geo-political context Offer creative solutions to challenges in international trade using hypothetical litigation and arbitration strategies.
