This module seeks to equip students with a sound understanding of fundamental rules of contract law that determine when and how a contract is formed, under what circumstances a contract is binding, and the rules governing the terms of a contract.

Topics may include:

- Sources of Contract Law
- Formation: Offer, Acceptance, Certainty, Intention to Create Legal Relations, Consideration, Promissory Estoppel
- Enforceability: Privity, Electronic Contracts, Capacity
- Interpretation of a Contract
- Express & Implied Terms
- Incorporation of Terms
- Exclusion and Limitation Clauses
- Sale of Goods
- Consumer Protection
