Migration is one of the key challenges facing us, and it affects the world in a variety of ways. This module provides a engaging and up-to-date overview of migration patterns, processes and consequences. It uses geographical approaches to understand migration, and to explore the relationship between migration and belonging. The module uses a wide range of sources to consider the importance of migration and belonging for contemporary societies. The module will provide you with the knowledge and skills to understand migration and its relationship with belonging, and to form and express your own evidence-based views on this significant global challenge.
