| Creative thinking is one of the most sought-after skills of the new economy. In a recent study made by like LinkedIn (2018), data showed that Creativity is the second most important skill that companies need the most, just behind Cloud Computing. About 60% of Chief Executives recognized that creativity is the most important leadership quality, even more than integrity (52%) and Global thinking (35%). 94% of the managers in Adobe Co. said that creativity is important to consider when hiring a candidate (2014). The world economic forum considered that Creativity is in the top 10 skills essential for in 2020 and beyond.
This module will help researchers and postgraduate students to find new methods and techniques to spark their creative thinking in their professional and academic career. In a fun way, we will learn and practice creative problem-solving in different scenarios. There are multiple methods to unleash students’ creativity. We will be revised some of them to find the best fit for each student.
All the weekly activities are planned to foster collaboration and teamwork. Creative ideas usually lead to projects and projects into ventures. We aim to have enough ideas that can feed future modules where you can apply your creative toolkit.
