	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: identify the appropriate search technique for the task and implement it competently use various online resources appropriate to their field of study, and be able to navigate these competently use library catalogues, subscription based databases competently critically evaluate information found online in terms of relevance, currency, reliability, objectivity, etc cite online sources accurately and consistently use the universities Virtual Learning Environment competently.

Assessment

	Autumn Supplementals/Resits
	Are supplemental/resit registrations permitted? Yes For autumn resit, the major assignment only may be submitted. There will be no re-submission of other continuous assessment components. Marks received during the semester in respect of in-class tests, presentations, minor assignments etc., will be carried over. Essays/projects for autumn resit must be submitted by 1 August and may be subject to a cap.
