Lecture topics will include: bioethics in relation to scientific research and drug development; the regulatory issues facing the introduction of pharmaceuticals; the design and management of clinical trials. The module will also involve guest lectures, which support the lecture material. Assessment for this module is 100% continuous assessment and involves a combination of written assignments, group activities, and individual assessments. |
