	This module aims to provide students with insights into how to engage in accounting research and ultimately develop skills as accounting researchers. Students will be assigned reading lists appropriate to the undertaking of research in accounting. Students will attend the School of Business research seminar series and present their research proposal at the PhD colloquium of the Irish Accounting and Finance Association.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Position their accounting research question in existing accounting research literature; Clarify their proposed contribution to the field of accounting research; and Prepare constructive feedback to peers and interpret and apply the feedback received from peers.
