Module Content: The cognitive approach. Perception, memory, thinking, reasoning and problem solving. Self and social identity. Group behaviour. Social cognition. Social conformity. Stereotyping, prejudice and attitudes. The formation of interpersonal affiliations.

Module Objective: To introduce key concepts in cognitive and social psychology.
