• This module is designed to equip students with the professional and learning skills needed to optimise their university and career trajectory. These types of 21st Century skills require practice and application. That being, the more effort and energy students put into their own development, the quicker they will cultivate these skills. As such, this module is offered as a living lab module, and will be taught using experiential learning techniques and is practice engaged. The teaching methods will include a range of face-to-face and digital methods of learning, including lectures, and tutorials, and will involve group discussion, individual- and group-level activities in order to facilitate experiential learning. This means student participation and interaction with the course material is vital to learning. This course is delivered by 36 lecture hours, and will have 6 tutorials. However, it also needs to be supported by 183 independent study hours.

• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Significant portions of the Continuous Assessment are conducted in class over a major part of the semester. Attendance and participation, therefore, are critical requirements for successfully completing this module.

• An individual assessment worth up to 60% of the grade is required to repeat this module in August. Marks from other elements of the module will be carried forward into the Autumn resit assessment cycle.
