• Discuss the physical principles, techniques, components and equipment used in computer interfacing and instrumentation.
• Interpret datasheets/manuals of electronics equipment and components.
• Demonstrate practical electronics skills, to include building and testing a breadboard prototype of a circuit from its schematic diagram.
• Design a method of monitoring a physical parameter using a computer.
• Simulate electronic circuits using commercially available software.
• Develop simple software routines in interfacing and instrumentation scenarios.
• Report work done during the practical sessions in a written format.
