The aim of this module is to introduce students to stellar structure & evolution.

Stellar structure, hydrostatic equilibrium, nucleosynthesis, radiation pressure, solar interior and atmosphere, stellar evolution, gravitational collapse, star formation, main sequence, H-R diagram, red giants, variable stars, stellar death and stellar clusters.
