The module will consist of an introduction to six of the major world religions, (the Abrahamic faiths; Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism; and six of the major Christian denominations (Roman Catholicism; Anglicanism; Presbyterianism; Methodism; Oriental Orthodoxy; and Eastern Orthodoxy); it will consider the efforts of world religions and Christian churches to move towards great mutual understanding; ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue. It will include a consideration of the scriptures of each religion/denomination and of the major feasts of each religion. |
