This module will cover uncertainty (insurance, forward markets, hedging, etc. ), search cost, observational learning and asymmetric Information and other additional selected topics as time permits.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: analyze observational learning and herding understand the impact of search cost on equilibrium outcomes in competitive markets analyze economic behavior under uncertainty and understand the fundamentals of insurance, forward markets and hedging master analysis with asymmetric information: adverse selection and its applications (credit rationing, discrimination in the job market . . .) signalling and its applications in the labor and in the goods market. hidden action and its applications (efficiency wages, incentive schemes . . .)
