	Overview
	A variety of advanced and current topics in Computer Science will be examined in bi-weekly seminars. These seminars will introduce new advanced topics as well as help students to develop a general and integrative appreciation of Computer Science as a research and professional discipline. Some key issues raised during the degree programming will be revisited, compared and contrasted in order to identify common themes and critical differences within the discipline.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Implement algorithms derived from the theory and/or practice of each topic. Apply algorithms from each topic to practical situations and problems. Compare and contrast each topic with alternative approaches to the same problems, where they exist.
