On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:

Introduces students from diverse discipline backgrounds to the science and challenges of climate change and food security.

Facilitate in developing an understanding of cutting edge climate change science from the international peer reviewed literature.

Examine the challenges of food security at the community, national and international levels which will be investigated and the double exposure of vulnerable communities to these crises.

Gain hands on experience of how future climate change scenarios are developed and will explore how uncertain information on the future can be best integrated to ensure successful adaptation.
